On June 3, 2024, ITNIO TECH and Smart Communications (referred to as Smart), the Philippine telecommunications service provider, officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement at Smart Tower, the headquarters of Smart in Manila, Philippines. 

The ceremony was attended by a number of executives and managers from both companies. Smart was delegated by teams from PLDT Enterprise, the owner of Smart, including President Albert, Assistant Vice President Joshua, head of Corporate Relations Jackie, while ITNIO TECH is represented by Senior Director Henry, International Procurement Director Tony, Sales Director Anthony, and Marketing Director Frederica.


Established in 1991, Smart is a wholly-owned wireless communications and digital services subsidiary of PLDT, Inc., the Philippines’ largest and only integrated telecommunications company. Smart serves approximately 96% of the country’s cities and municipalities, providing mobile communications services, high-speed internet connectivity, and access to digital services and content to over 71.2 million Filipinos.


With a core team that has been working in the international cloud communication industry for nearly 20 years, ITNIO TECH has been continuously expanding the resources of high-quality telecommunications operators globally, offering superior international intelligent verification solutions to Chinese enterprises expanding internationally. Presently, ITNIO TECH has established 11 branches worldwide, and has established stable cooperation with more than 100 telecom operators.


The signing of this contract marks a milestone for ITNIO TECH and Smart to formally start the in-depth cooperation in the field of cloud communication in the Philippines.

On one hand, ITNIO TECH has expanded its telecom operator resources and communication network in Philippines, which can provide more stable, higher-quality and wider coverage communication services for Chinese enterprises with the Philippines as their target market. On the other hand, Smart will be able to leverage on ITNIO TECH's expertise and resources to strengthen its leadership position in the Philippine telecoms market. Moreover, the cooperation brings customers a richer, more convenient and smarter communications experience, truly a win-win situation for all three parties.


During the signing ceremony, Mr. Albert V. Villa, President of the PLDT Enterprise, expressed his confidence and expectations for the partnership between Smart and ITNIO TECH. He stated, "Bridge World, Connecting Next, the collaboration between Smart and ITNIO TECH will mark the beginning of creating a successful business together."


Mr. Henry Yim, Senior Director of ITNIO TECH, also expressed in his speech that ITNIO TECH and Smart share a common vision and mission of providing innovative and reliable telecom solutions to customers. This collaboration represents the confluence of the two companies' shared values and aspirations. At the same time, he promised, "ITNIO TECH will ensure that we will provide customers with competitive, forward-looking, and sustainable products and services, meeting their unique needs and assisting Smart in enhancing market influence."
